The Slaton Lions was put to test international style at our monthly luncheon.
The trivia question is: When and where did World War 2 in Europe (VE DAY) end?
NO ONE had the correct answer! So I will reveal answer @ our August 19 Fish Fry.
Blaze Bownds gave the program for todays Luncheon (August 1, 2016)
Blaze toured Luxemburg, Italy, Germany and France to name a few countries. On his
educational tour that lasted for about a month and a half we learned about the currency
EURO, the RIO games coming soon and the lackadaisical attitude in all of Europe!
His rousing 20 minute presentation left us in awe—Oh the educators in Slaton were not
able to attend —shoulda, coulda, woulda.
In summary: Blaze Bownds put Slaton Lions on the International Scene!
